SKYPOMP is a studio, a gallery, and a working space for artists who make from the inside out. The name is new, but the idea behind it isn’t. The project began with a belief that early work deserves a home and that the relationship between artist and collector can be more direct, more personal, and more honest than the traditional art world allows.

We work with people who create in real time. Paintings, poems, prints, journals, videos, experiments, half-finished ideas. Work that still carries the texture of the studio. Our goal is to make that work visible without sanding it down or staging it for a showroom. This is a place where process sits beside finished pieces and where the story behind the work matters as much as the final object.

SKYPOMP is built on the idea of mutual creative risk. Artists put themselves into the open and collectors meet them there. Nothing here is treated as a lifestyle accessory. We focus on intimacy, context, and the slow accumulation of a creative life. Collectors become participants in the growth of the artist rather than customers browsing a catalog.

The people who follow what we do tend to be readers, makers, curious thinkers, and those who value art that feels alive. They want to discover something on their own rather than be told what matters. They are drawn to work that still has its fingerprints on it. They appreciate honesty, experimentation, and the sense of a real person on the other side.

SKYPOMP was founded by a small group of working artists and collaborators who wanted a more grounded and transparent way to share their work. The studio in Pittsburgh gives us a base to build from. It is a place to show new pieces, print books, host gatherings, and stay close to the energy that makes the work possible.

More updates will come as the studio grows. For now, the simplest version of what we are trying to do is this: keep art human, keep it accessible, and create a space where people can see each other clearly across the table.
